Graphic Design

Whether you have an existing corporate design or need assistance building your brand from the ground up. My approach ensures that every aspect of your brand is cohesive and integrated, providing you with everything you need under one roof. I am dedicated to helping you create a strong, memorable brand that resonates with your audience.

Here are some examples of my work.

  • viadonau Annual Report

Building on an established corporate design, I have overseen the production of the report for several years. My role includes content curation, updating complex infographics, and coordinating the visual language – from art-directing photo shoots to ensuring brand consistency across every page.

Since more and more people read the annual report digitally, I created a responsive digital version instead of simply generating a downloadable PDF.

  • Branding FAIRway Danube II

    Corporate Design & Transnational Communication

As the successor to the original FAIRway Danube project, FAIRway Danube II is a transnational initiative involving Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania. The project is co-financed by the European Union and aims to improve fairway conditions on the Danube while making inland navigation more sustainable and climate resilient.

My role encompassed the full range of visual and editorial communication for this large-scale project:

    • Comprehensive Branding: Developing the new corporate design, including logo, print, and merchandising assets for international conferences.
    • Multilingual Information: Designing information brochures across all Danube-region languages, ensuring consistent communication across borders.
    • Technical Visualization: Creating complex infographics to illustrate the project’s new low-water management methodology.
    • Stakeholder Outreach: From roll-ups to digital assets, I ensure that FAIRway Danube II remains a visible, sustainable, and professional voice in inland navigation.

Within the scope of the FAIRway Danube II project, new berths were constructed, featuring integrated shore power terminals as a key measure for improving sustainability. I was responsible for the branding and the design of all information materials for these sites, ensuring a consistent visual identity that effectively communicates the impact of this green energy transition for the Danube corridor.

  • KWD – Characteristic Water
    Levels of the Danube

Sometimes, the content of a publication can be technical rather than flashy, and as designers, we must navigate these challenges, too. This brochure primarily consists of tables, so to make it more engaging and facilitate the reader’s entry, we have expanded the introduction and complemented it with clear, illustrative images. Given that the primary target audience consists of hydrology experts who require quick and straightforward access to information, unnecessary embellishments were deliberately avoided to ensure a streamlined user experience.
A waterproof coat makes this brochure more durable when used in proximity to water.

The characteristic water levels of the Danube are an important data source for maintenance, shipping and ecology.

    KWM – Characteristic Water
    Levels of Morava

The KWM follows the same principles as the KWD, providing essential hydrological data specifically for the Morava (March) river.

Because the Morava serves as a border river, this brochure is bilingual. To reflect this, we designed it with two covers: the reader can flip the publication over to switch languages, with both versions meeting in the middle at the binding.

Both the KWD and KWM brochures are updated once every 10 years, as the characteristic water levels are recalculated on a decade-long cycle to ensure statistical accuracy.

  • Brochure about invasive neophytes

A brochure aimed at raising awareness about invasive neophytes in the surroundings of rivers. It features an introduction along with a comprehensive index, providing a detailed profile of each species on its own page.

  • Facade Covering in Vienna

Designing a facade covering to conceal restoration work on a historic building by Vienna’s renowned architect Otto Wagner. Situated in a high-visibility location, it is frequently seen by passersby, particularly those in vehicles on the adjacent highway. Therefore, it was essential to keep the design simple yet impactful, avoiding excessive content while ensuring that the message remains striking and memorable.
Upon completion of the work, the fabric was repurposed into shopper bags.

  • Identity & Logo Design

Good design is about more than just aesthetics; it’s about creating a recognizable face for a business. Even a simple logo, when applied thoughtfully to everyday items, helps establish trust and clarity. This gallery shows a mix of visual marks and their first steps into the physical world.

  • Conceptual Research & Visual Storytelling:
    Understanding Misunderstandings

Developed as a research-led design project, this study explored the complex human phenomenon of misunderstandings. Presented as a two-volume set in a custom slipcase, the work bridges the gap between narrative storytelling and analytical research:

    • The Narrative Volume: A collection of historical, often humorous anecdotes illustrated in a free, collage-based style.
    • The Analytical Volume: An exploration of the origins and structures of miscommunication, visualized through rigorous, technical-style illustrations.

Even two decades later, this work remains the bedrock of my design philosophy. It established my ability to translate complex, abstract topics into coherent visual narratives – a skill I apply daily to bridge the gap between technical data and accessible communication in my current projects. It demonstrates my enduring commitment to combining analytical depth with precise, aesthetic execution.
