Branding FAIRway Danube II
Corporate Design & Transnational Communication
As the successor to the original FAIRway Danube project, FAIRway Danube II is a transnational initiative involving Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania. The project is co-financed by the European Union and aims to improve fairway conditions on the Danube while making inland navigation more sustainable and climate resilient.
My role encompassed the full range of visual and editorial communication for this large-scale project:
- Comprehensive Branding: Developing the new corporate design, including logo, print, and merchandising assets for international conferences.
- Multilingual Information: Designing information brochures across all Danube-region languages, ensuring consistent communication across borders.
- Technical Visualization: Creating complex infographics to illustrate the project’s new low-water management methodology.
- Stakeholder Outreach: From roll-ups to digital assets, I ensure that FAIRway Danube II remains a visible, sustainable, and professional voice in inland navigation.

Within the scope of the FAIRway Danube II project, new berths were constructed, featuring integrated shore power terminals as a key measure for improving sustainability. I was responsible for the branding and the design of all information materials for these sites, ensuring a consistent visual identity that effectively communicates the impact of this green energy transition for the Danube corridor.
